Daniel asked to see me.
I said no.
Then he sent messages through his attorney.
She misunderstood.
I was trying to save her.
David panicked.

David turned first.
Of course he did.
Twins do not always share loyalty evenly when prison enters the room.
He told detectives Daniel planned everything.
The champagne.
The empty deck.
The bribed captain.

But David also blamed Daniel for “pressuring” him.
As if he had not put both hands on my back.
As if his laugh had not carried across the water.
The captain cooperated too.
He admitted Daniel paid him to leave deck cameras “offline.”
He did not know about the hidden ones.
Dad’s cameras ran on a separate system connected to satellite storage.
