*UNDERGROUND FIGHTING RING EXPOSED. HOSPITAL CORRUPTION UNCOVERED. DOZENS OF DESPERATE PEOPLE EXPLOITED.*
The evidence was overwhelming.
The recordings. The financial records. The testimony from Marcus and Mickey and the other fighters who came forward.
Vincent was charged with murder, extortion, fraud, corruption, and a dozen other crimes.
The hospital administrators who helped him were arrested too.
The system was broken.
And it was all coming down.
The hospital announced that my mom's bills were being forgiven.
And not just hers.
All the families who had been exploited.
All of them.
Their treatment would continue. For free.
Marcus's daughter, Lila, was moved to a better hospital. A children's charity offered to cover all her expenses.
