Chapter 8

The police got involved.

A lawyer reached out to us. Pro bono. Said what Ryan had done wasn't just cruel—it was illegal.

Invasion of privacy. Defamation. Intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The case built fast.

Ryan tried to settle. Offered money. Offered apologies.

We said no.

We wanted the truth on record.

The trial lasted three days.

One by one, we told our stories.

We showed the videos. The messages. The evidence of the pattern.

Ryan tried to defend himself. Said it was "all in good fun." Said we'd "agreed to participate."

But the evidence didn't lie.

The judge looked at Ryan with clear disgust.

"You built a following on the humiliation of vulnerable people," she said. "You manipulated their trust. You profited from their pain. And you showed no remorse."

She ruled in our favor.

Ryan was ordered to pay damages to each of us. To remove every video. To issue a public apology.

And Olivia—who had helped plan and execute many of the schemes—was named a co-defendant and ordered to pay her share.
